Geosciences Barcelona (GEO3BCN) is part of the State Agency Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).

GEO3BCN and the CSIC have complied with the remaining requirements in terms of data protection, including the creation of internal flows for reporting any security breaches, the corresponding risk analyses with the adoption of pertinent security measures based on those detected, as well as conducting “privacy impact assessment” studies in cases where risks have been identified, primarily linked to data processing within the framework of certain research projects.
